KidZui Summer Sweepstakes
2008 Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. YOU MUST BE OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE TO ENTER.
1. Eligibility.
To enter, you must be the parent or legal guardian of a child 3 to 12 years of age at the time of entry. You must also be a resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia and at least 18 years of age. Employees of KidZui, Inc. (“Sponsor”) and its affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity agencies or any other entity or person involved with the production, design, execution or distribution of this Sweepstakes (“Sponsor and its Agents”) and their immediate family members and persons living in the same household of each, are not eligible to enter or win. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
2. Entry.
To enter the Sweepstakes, first submit your entry code online at www.KidZui.com/FREE and then download and install the free KidZui software and create a free KidZui account (collectively, the “entry”), all between 8 o'clock in the morning (Eastern Time) on June 15, 2008 and 11 o'clock at night (Eastern Time) on July 31, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). If you do not have an entry code, visit www.KidZui.com/FREE and request one during the Sweepstakes Period. Your entry must be received by 11 o'clock at night (Eastern Time) on July 31, 2008 to be eligible. Only one entry from each household is allowed.
Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable telecommunications or network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, lost, late, illegible, misdirected, garbled, damaged or delayed entries or other communications or other technical problems related to entries. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person who tampers with the entry process or the operation of Sponsor’s website, or who otherwise violates these rules.
3. Prize / Odds of Winning
There are ten (10) prizes: The winners of the Sweepstakes will each receive an iPod Shuffle audio player (Approximate Retail Value: $49.95 each). Prizes will be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian only. Use of iPod Shuffle subject to software license at: www.apple.com/support/manuals/ipod. iTunes service for iPod Shuffle may be limited to individuals aged 13 years or older. Additional terms and restrictions may apply.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Many will enter, but only a few will win. Prize is not transferable. No substitution of prize for cash or other goods and services is permitted, except Sponsor reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of approximately equal or greater value. Other than as stated above, prize details are within the sole discretion of Sponsor and subject to availability. All expenses not specified above, including, without limitation, all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Allow 4-6 weeks for prize shipping.
4. Winner Selection
Ten winners will be determined by random drawing on or about August 1, 2008 at Sponsor’s address listed in paragraph 8 below, from all eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by an email sent to the email address submitted with the entry. If a potential winner cannot be contacted at this email address, is contacted and does not respond as directed within fourteen (14) days of attempted notification, refuses the prize or is ineligible to accept the prize, prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes claimed in accordance with these rules will be awarded.
Winners may be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and, except where prohibited, Liability/Publicity Release, in the form provided by Sponsor, within fourteen (14) days of attempted notification in order to claim prize. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the account for the email address submitted with the entry is registered.
5. General Conditions
Entrants and winners assume sole liability and accept all risk of loss for injuries, including personal injuries and/or damage to property, caused or claimed to be caused by participating in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, shipping and handling, loss, use or misuse of any prize awarded. Sponsor has the right to cancel, terminate or modify this Sweepstakes if it cannot be completed as planned due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or other conditions beyond Sponsor's control and to select winners from eligible entries received on or before the termination date. Sponsor is not responsible for any failure to contact entrants, whether due to technical or human error. Sweepstakes, Entrants agree (a) that Sponsor has the right to use Entrant’s first and/or last name, city and state of residence in any and all media in connection with administration of this Sweepstakes; (b) to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges; and (c) to be contacted by Sponsor or its agents by telephone, mail or email regarding this Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the state of California applicable to contracts entered into by California residents and to be performed within such State without regard to its conflict of law provisions, with venue in San Diego County, California.

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy policy available at www.kidzui.com.
7. Winners list.
You may also receive a winners list by sending a stamped, self addressed envelope to “Winners List: KidZui Summer Sweepstakes” KidZui, Inc., 2448 Historic Decatur Road, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92106, to be received by August 15, 2008.
